Abstract: The cataloging of rubbings aims to objectively and comprehensively record the original condition and academic information. With the development of cataloging concepts and technical conditions, the existing cataloging rules for rubbings are slightly inadequate in terms of applicability and scientificity. The quality of cataloging data of rubbings is uneven. On the basis of the existing rules, the article discusses the problems existing in cataloging, supplements the cataloging rules of bibliographic information, and designs the cataloging rules of restoration and conservation information with reference to the relevant standards, with a view to further improving the cataloging practices for rubbings.
