摘要:

日本内阁文库藏《沪吴日记》实为日人沪上游记之嚆矢。冈田篁所以汉字笔谈方式记录了1872 年旅华见闻和艺术交流实态。冈田篁所沪吴之行专访收藏家和书画家,源于自身艺术修养,也有拜谒名家、文墨之士和寻访长崎旧友等目的。透过冈田篁所一行与中国古董商和收藏者、居留沪日本南画家、海派书画家的交往分析,可窥上海、苏州及周边文化经济面貌及江南底层知识分子的真实状况,亦折射19 世纪70 年代日本在华以文化介入、艺术古董投资等模式进行民间美术经济交流的实质。进一步论,此艺术之旅是两国重启外交后,应对西方文明冲击重新互识“旧新知”、巨大书画古董经济利益驱使及上海开放环境等内外因下,近代中日民间美术文艺复兴初期的一次关键交流。

Abstract:

The Journal in Shanghai and Suzhou which is collected in Cabinet Library of Japan was thebeginning of Japanese travelogue to Shanghai. Okada Kōsho recorded the experience and artistic exchangein his Chinese trip in 1872 in Chinese characters for the purpose of enhancing his artistic cultivation andcalling on famous artists literary men and old friends in Nagasaki he interviewed some collectorspainters and calligraphers in his trip. Through analyzing his interviews and contact with Chinese antiquedealers collectors Japanese painters residing in Shanghai calligraphers and painters of ShanghaiSchool it can give a glimpse of the cultural and economic landscape of the grass-roots intellectuals inShanghai Suzhou and the surrounding areas. At the same time it also refracts the essence that Japaneseconducted economic and art exchanges in folk in China in the 1870s which were in the form of culturalinterventions art and antique investment. Further this art trip was an important exchange in the earlystage of Chinese and Japanese folk art renaissance in modern times after these two countries restarteddiplomacy. This art trip is a result of some internal and external factors including responses to the impactof Western civilization to re-acquaint the 􀆵old and new knowledge with each other the huge economicinterests of antique painting and calligraphy and Shanghai􀆳s open environment and other factors.
