Abstract:

For a long time, most scholars mistakenly believed that the Ming handwritten edition ShuoYuan , which is collected in National Library of China, is the edition on which the Si Bu Cong Kanwas printed. Due to the easy availability of the Si Bu Cong Kan Text, scholars no longer paid attention to where its text came from, resulting in two different editions being regarded as the same by latergenerations. Ming handwritten edition Shuo Yuan is different from the Si Bu Cong Kan Text in terms offont, circulation, content, taboo and description. It clearly shows that the Ming banknote edition ShuoYuan is earlier than the base edition of the Si Bu Cong Kan Text. It is also a better edition with more complete content, less error and earlier source, especially in terms of taboo and content. In addition, this version can also be used to revise the content of the Song Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty versions, which isvery worthy of our attention and use.
