Abstract: On the basis of analyzing relevant theories, practical achievements and status quo of information literacy and digital literacy education, this paper adopts literature survey and analysis, textual analysis,and comparison, to propose the following: 1) digital literacy is an upgraded version of information literacy in the digital age; 2) it reflects the significant progress from “three scenarios” to “four scenarios:”; and 3) the key to enhancing digital literacy for all is to break down the barriers of disciplines.
