摘要： 美国国会图书馆收藏的孤本《壬午平海纪》一书对于研究晚明史、海洋史以及上海地方史都具有宝贵价值，但经考察，此本并非完帙，不仅正文存在缺佚，还脱去序言与所附《平海图》。《平海图》现藏中国私家之手，今后应将《平海纪》与《平海图》合璧出版，才能最大限度挖掘出其中蕴含的重要史料价值。

Abstract: The history book Renwu Pinghai Ji collected by the Library of Congress of the United States,is of great value to the study of the history of the late Ming Dynasty, ocean history and local history of Shanghai. However, after investigation, this book is incomplete. Not only the content of the text is incomplete, but also the lack of preface and woodblock print Pinghai Tu. Pinghai Tu is now kept in private collector in China. It is suggested that Pinghai Ji and Pinghai Tu should be published together in the future to maximize the important historical value contained therein.
