Abstract: Xin Xue Wei Jing Kao annotated by Gu Jiegang collected in the Library of Shandong University,
which had preserved a large number of circles and two postscripts of Gu Jiegang, and seven comments made
by Cui Shi that copied by Gu Jiegang, and two collation records performed by Rong Zhaozu. The book was
bought by Gu Jiegang in 1915 and lost during the Anti-Japanese War, accompanied by Gu Jiegang’s golden
period of doubting the ancient and distinguishing falsehood. Therefore, a comprehensive and meticulous
research on Xin Xue Wei Jing Kao annotated by Gu Jiegang will contribute to further study the influences
of Kang Youwei on Gu’s doubting the ancient and distinguishing falsehood, and emphasize the important
values of document and academic history of Xin Xue Wei Jing Kao annotated by Gu Jiegang.
