Abstract:

We will introduce six manuscripts of collections of classical Chinese short stories in Late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, such as Song Rong’s The note in Hong Jiao Shan Guan, Shen Yinlie’s Xiao Xia Za Lu; Dong Junhan’s The note in E Qi Ju, Cai Xikun’s The note of Xikun, Wang Tong’s The Chat
about Hangzhou, Zhang Ruochi’s The note of Zhang Ruochi. These works haven’t noticed by scholars in this field, hence the need for an introduction.
