Abstract:

Zhang Junheng’s Records of Collation of Shangshu Zhushu is from collation by comparisons between Yongle edition and Ruan edition. After detail proofreading, we find that Zhang Junheng had used the Ruan’s Records of Collation. As reference in Records of Collation of Shangshu Zhushu and also amended some errors in Ruan’s Records of Collation. Though Zhang Junheng’s Records of Collation has spot-check collation, collation omission, and misjudgment issues, it has important reference value in understanding Ruan’s Records of Collation. It’s a new and pioneering achievement that cannot be ignored in the Shangshu Zhushu collation history.
