Abstract:

It is not only the objective requirement of knowledge economy development, but also the inevitable consequence of modern information environment change for provincial public libraries to head towards knowledge service. This paper explores the path and effective strategy during the construction of provincial public libraries towards knowledge service by analyzing the resource advantage of provincial public libraries and the current situation of information resource construction.
