资源描述与检索（Resource Description and Access，简称RDA）是数字环境下诞生的新编目规 则，必然与旧的MARC21格式中有部分不兼容的地方。文章在阐述MARC21修订背景的基础上，通过对美 国国会图书馆MARC标准中公布的样例加以筛选，用以说明MARC21针对RDA规则中的新元素对字段及子 字段进行的修订及变化。

Abstract:
Resource Description and Access (RDA) is the new cataloguing rule in digital environment, which is inevitably incompatible with the old MARC21 format in one way or another. Based on an elaboration of the MARC21 amendments, the article focuses on the samples given by the Library of Congress in MARC standards to illustrate how MARC21 should be revised to meet the requirements of new elements in RDA rule.
