Characteristics of Comic and Animation Resources Development and Service in Foreign Libraries

Abstract

Abstract:

This paper discusses the characteristics of comic and animation resources development and service in foreign libraries from eight aspects, namely, user-centered collection development, service to support comic and animation studies, service to support comic and animation education, emphasis on
various forms of publicity and promotion, service to support comic and animation industry, emphasis on preservation of comic and animation information resources, cooperation with other institutions and active role of library associations in this field.
