Abstract:

In the era of mobile Internet, social media is meeting people’s need of information interaction,continuously mining users’ demands, exploring innovative applications, and now being widely accepted as a new way of communication. This paper analyses the influence of the rapid development of social media on library industry, the utilization of social media by library industry, the necessity and possibility of cooperation between library and social media, as well as putting forward the concept and development  idea of social media library.
