The Observation on Read4Life Project of State Library of Queensland in Australia

Abstract

Abstract:

Read4Life is an embedded project of State Library of Queensland in Australia, which aims to develop essential reading perception for 0-5 years-old children. The project has played an important role in training and guiding children’s reading and writing ability development through reading packages and abundant community events. This paper introduces the operation, implementation, outcomes, evaluation of Read4Life project in order to provide reference to Chinese public libraries in terms of community culture construction.
