Research on Services Promotion for Dyslexic Children in Chinese Public Libraries

Abstract:

Children with dyslexia need a different approach to learn. Public libraries are supposed to provide equal access to services, and help this special group to use library resources. This paper, from the literature and questionnaires, practices, services promotion as well as social cooperation, encourages
library services to children with dyslexia. It also discusses new ideas and suggestions on dyslexia children services that Chinese public libraries can provide, including internal and external construction, such as the construction a sound institutional system, establishment of multi-partnerships, launch of service promotion,
rational distribution of library resources, expansion of specialized services, provision of support services environment, the creation of a professional service team.
