Abstract:

This Paper discusses the defining principle of preserved books that are at risk in the universities of the United States. It analyzes the collections, bibliographic records and the selected books at Vanderbilt University Libraries, and classifies the preservation of the libraries. The United States University Library’screening strategy to preserved books provides the reference for the protection and utilization of preserved books for our university library.
