Abstract:

Taking Shanghai university libraries as an example, this paper studies the usage statistics from 2008 to 2012 of Springer e-books. Introducing the concept of relative usage factor, the paper analyses further the usage statistics from four factors of annual usage pattern, copyright year, content type and subject, concludes e-book usage law. Finally, it puts forward to some helpful suggestions to the foreign e-books acquisition.
