Abstract:

This dataset comprises user information, entry records, learning space usage records,and loan records collected from the user management platform, library access system, learning spacereservation system, and Aleph500 of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies Library from 2016 to 2022academic years. After undergoing cleaning, desensitization and processing, a total of 4 data files wereobtained, encompassing 14 208 746 records. This dataset is helpful for analyzing the utilization of libraryresources during the 13th and 14th Five-Year Plans. It can be used to explore user behavioral patterns andtrends, provide data support for the adjustment of library layout and resource development. Also, it canserve as a foundation for comparative research of similar libraries.
