Comparison of Software Tools for Mapping Knowledge Domain

Abstract

Abstract:

This article first introduces the general workflow of mapping knowledge domain, and then
analyzes twelve representative knowledge mapping tools in terms of data format, data preprocessing,
relationship matrix construction, stardardization measures and analysis methods they enable respectively. A
summary will be provided in the end, describing the strengths and weaknesses of these tools, so as to help
users select the best tool in accordance with their own research needs.
