Abstract:

American novel The Storied life of A.J.Fikry is a phenomenal popular bestseller over the globe. The book is about the life of a little bookstore owner, who is passionate about books but experiences difficulties dealing with the day-to-day life after the death of his beloved wife in a car accident. This article, rather than another book review, tries to reveal the occupational quality of the hero from a different perspective. To some extent, a bookstore acts like a library, and all the good qualities exhibited in the bookstore owner A.J.Fikry and the publisher sales representative Amelia are also very essential to all good
librarians: passionate about reading, keen to take notes, effective in communication, and ready to embrace new technology, to name just a few.The librarians should adapt themselves to the changing era and commit themselves to lifelong education to ensure the success of our career.
