Abstract:

It has been generally accepted that culture plays a great role in poverty reduction. The povertystricken regions try to achieve economic growth by various cultural approaches, especially in fostering talents, using cultural resources effectively, building cultural infrastructures, exploring the economic
potential of culture. In these respects, Korea, Japan and South Africa have some successful experience,which can be used for reference for our country.
