Abstract: Shanju Shiyin, written by Qian Qianyi, is not embodied in the Complete Works of Qian Muzhai edited by Qian Zhonglian, but can be found as the foreword at the beginning of the book Poets About Living in the Mountains by Monk Sanfengzang. After analysizing this article, the reason of its absentation in the collection is revealed, which reflects that Qian's evaluation on Monk Fazang and Zhong Xing had changed greatly. Therefore, this article is valuable for the study of Qian’s thoughts on Buddhism and literature.
