我国高校图书馆服务学习项目建设及评价体系思考

Reflections on the Development and Evaluation of Service- Learning Programs in China’s College Libraries

摘要: 服务学习是大学教育体系中的一项重要实践,它使高等院校能够将研究和学习的基本职能与有意义的社区服务相结合。我国高校图书馆在服务学习项目建设中尚存在一些问题,如何发现服务学习项目开展中的问题以及构建适合我国高校图书馆服务学习项目的评价体系是值得关注的问题之一。本文选取国内高校图书馆开展服务学习的典型案例,通过引入国外高校图书馆使用的Kott 的《学术图书馆服务学习项目自我评估准则》对服务学习案例进行评估和对比研究。研究总结我国高校图书馆服务学习项目现存的问题和未来的发展方向,并由此引发对未来服务学习项目评价体系的一系列思考。

Abstract:

Service learning is an important practice in university education, which enables institutions of higher learning to combine the basic functions of research and learning with meaningful community service. There are still some problems in the development of service-learning programs in college libraries in China. Identifying these challenges and building an appropriate evaluation system are critical issues. This paper examines typical cases of service learning carried out by college libraries in China, and evaluates them through Kott’s Self-Evaluation Guidelines for Academic Libraries’ Service-Learning Programs, a framework used by college libraries internationally. The study identifies existing problems and suggests potential directions for the future development of service-learning programs in college libraries in China. It also offers insights into building an evaluation system for these programs.
