文章从4 个方面介绍了陈誉教授海派文化的特质：一是“海纳百川”之大者，二是“追求卓越”之高者，三是“开明睿智”之学者，四是“大气谦和”之仁者。指出这些文化特质依然是我们图情事业面向未来创新和高质量发展的宝贵文化财富。
