Abstract: Dear colleagues of Shanghai Library, dear colleagues in China and in other parts of the world,If you listen to me. I’m Barbara Lison, President of IFLA, and I am happy that I have the opportunity to talk to you on behalf of IFLA and at the occasion of this wonderful new building in the Shanghai Library, the east building which is a new landmark to the whole city of Shanghai, I would like to talk to you about IFLA, and how IFLA works together with the libraries, how IFLA supports the libraries, and how IFLA supports you.
