摘要：

美国高校图书馆的藏书奖产生较早并一直受到重视，藏书奖的资金来源较多、奖励读者范
围较广泛，其奖项设置、申报要求、评奖委员会、评奖标准、获奖者奖励及成果管理等方面均比较
规范。我国高校图书馆应从倡导读者建设个人藏书、规范现行的评奖活动程序、发挥优秀读者的带
动作用、加强与校内外机构间的合作、充分利用社会资源等方面完善读者服务及奖励工作。

Abstract:

The practices of endowing prizes for book collection development were started early in the
United States, with various sources of funding, extensive recipients, and standardized processing procedures.
Academic libraries in China should advocate readers to build individual collections, standardize existing
awards, play the leading role of model readers, strengthen the cooperation with internal and external agencies,
and make full use of social resources to improve the reader service and rewards.
