Abstract: This paper comprehensively analyzes and endorses the unique structure and wonderful cases of Reading to Dispel Mental Disease, the latest masterpiece by Gong Meiling, a senior reading therapist in China. It collects statistics of seven major psychological problems and mental disorders existing in college students in China, and makes a systematic analysis of and induction to their causes and clinical manifestations, so as to obtain a complete set of golden prescriptions to all kinds of mental diseases. The paper demonstrates the great effect and therapeutic mechanism of reading therapy in addressing college students’ mental problems, and concludes that this book can be a good remedy for contemporary college students.
