摘要：

为弥补国际查新检索时DIALOG国际联机系统的局限性，本文以理论结合实例的方式，介绍了如何充分
利用Web of Science（简称WoS）数据库的多种排序、分析结果、引文索引等功能，快速检索到可比性较高的相
关文献，并从中抽取和扩展关键词，根据文献与查新项目的相关度完善检索式。实践证明WoS和DIALOG结合使
用能够促使国际查新的成本和质量实现双赢。

Abstract:

To overcome limitations of DIALOG in international novelty retrieval, this paper introduces how to use
Web of Science (WoS) database, with its functions such as multiple sorting, result analysis, and citation index, to
retrieve highly relevant documents, to extract and expand keywords, and thus to improve the retrieval model. Based
on theoretical interpretation and case studies, the paper evidences the effects of incorporating WoS and DIALOG for
international novelty retrieval.
