作者关键词生存分析——以国内图情领域为例

Survival Analysis of Author Keywords: An Empirical Study on Library and Information Science in China

摘要: 作者关键词作为论文的重要组成部分,能够反映论文的主要内容,已被广泛应用于学科 以及主题演化研究中。本研究引进Kaplan-Meier曲线,将其应用于作者关键词生存分析,揭示作 者关键词的生存状况,有利于学科以及主题的演化研究。首先,采集国内CSSCI数据库1998-2018 年持续收录的13本图情领域期刊发表的所有论文;其次,采用Kaplan-Meier曲线对图情领域的作 者关键词生存分析进行刻画;最后,利用Log Rank检验以及Breslow检验分别对情报学与图书馆学的 关键词生存曲线差异以及权威期刊与核心期刊的关键词生存曲线差异进行显著性检验。研究结果 表明,图情领域的作者关键词生存曲线第1年先快速下降,之后呈现缓慢下降的趋势,关键词平 均生存时间为2.245年;情报学学科的关键词平均生存时间比图书馆学的长,且在0.001水平下具 有显著性差异;此外,权威期刊的关键词平均生存时间比核心期刊的长,且在0.001水平下具有显 著性差异。本研究将Kaplan-Meier曲线应用于作者关键词的生存分析,揭示了国内图情领域的作 者关键词生存状况,对基于关键词的主题和学科演化分析具有一定的借鉴意义。

Abstract: Author keyword, representing core content of the paper, is one of the most important elements of scientific papers. This study used Kaplan-Meier curve to investigate the survival of author keywords in library and information science in China, which can provide more insights to the evolution of a topic or discipline. Firstly, we obtained all the papers published by thirteen journals on library and information science from 1998 to 2018, which are indexed in the CSSCI database. Then the Kaplan-Meier curve was used to analyze the survival of author keywords whereas the Log Rank and Breslow test were used to verify the differences of survival of author keywords between different disciplines and between different types of journals. The results showed that the author keywords survival curve in the field of library and information science declined rapidly in the first year, followed by a slow downward trend, and that the average survival time of author keywords was 2.245 years. Moreover, we found that the average survival time of author keywords in information science is longer than that in library science, and there is a significant difference at the level of 0.001. In addition, the average survival time of author keywords in authoritative journals is longer than that of core journals, and there is a significant difference at 0.001 level. In this study, the Kaplan-Meier curve was applied to the study of the survival of author keywords, revealing the patterns of survival of author keywords in the field of library and information science in China, which can provide a new research perspective for topic evolution analysis.
