Abstract:

Taking Sha Tau Kok Library which is located in Yantian District, Shenzhen, as an example, the
paper elaborates how public libraries in towns and streets proactively explore cultural resources, institutional
resources, human resources, natural resources, and various other community resources to build benign
relations with the community and to set up mutually beneficial cooperation to overcome their own shortage of
financial and personnel resources.
