Abstract:

Preventive protection of documents emphasizes acting proactively before problem occurs,which means reducing damage caused by various negative factors to achieve long-term preservation by effective monitoring, evaluating, control and management. From the perspectives of protection technique,
organization management and system guarantee, combined with the practice of Shanghai Library in recent years, this paper expounds the preventive protection work of historical document collection.
